about
The first single off our album Ephemeral
lyrics
Uh
Feelin’ exhausted again
Wasn’t ready for this again
Desire for normalcy
The need to forget
We’re all trapped in passive inertia
We’re all chasing happiness
It’s all so fleeting
Give up on perfection!
Give up on perfection! (x2)
Some say the one you love
Is who you disappoint most and
It’s easier done than said
There’s no selfish form of love
Ha!
But sometimes dead is better
Beginnings and endings in Irving Square Park
I’m so sick of all this ludicrous shit I’m done with it!
Give up on perfection
Can’t find perfection anywhere
Give up on perfection
Dare you to find perfection
I’d like to think I don’t need nobody
And I’d like to think I could have some standards
But here we go, riding this wave again
(repeat a million times until the track destroys itself)
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
